But what I remember most fondly are the enormous frozen monster cookies she'd bring out—so big, so chewy. This is her cherished recipe, and I hope you find as much joy in them as I always have.

1 ½ cups peanut butter
1 ¼ cups brown sugar (packed)
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon corn syrup (important)
2 teaspoons baking soda
¾ teaspoon kosher salt
4 ½ cups quick-cooking oats
¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
¾ cup M&M’s
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large stand mixer, cream together the softened butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and sugar until thoroughly mixed.
- Add corn syrup, vanilla, eggs, salt, and baking soda; mix until combined.
